So, picture this. It's 2035, and programmers are kicking back with their fancy oat milk lattes, letting LLMs like CodeSentry 9000 do all the heavy lifting. These AI tools are churning out perfect React components, flawlessly managing databases, and even writing commit messages that make sense. Life is good, right?
Wrong.
Because while developers were busy prompting their way to productivity, nobody noticed that the entire codebase had slowly become a self-referential labyrinth of AI-generated code reviewing AI-generated code. The tests passed. The pipelines were green. And absolutely nothing worked.
This is a cautionary tale about what happens when we hand the keys to the car without learning how to drive. It's told in Comic Sans because some disasters deserve to be remembered with the appropriate font.
